The Red Cross, born of a desire to bring assistance without discrimination to the wounded on the battlefield, endeavors – in its international and national capacity – to prevent and alleviate human suffering wherever it may be found. Its purpose is to protect life and health and to ensure respect for the human being. It promotes mutual understanding, friendship, co-operation and peace amongst all people. The ideas of peace are to be inculcated in the Youth for the Practice and Promotion of health-services. Every citizen must understand and accept civil and human responsibility. They have to cultivate and maintain a spirit of friendly helpfulness.<\/p>\n

The Fundamental Principles of Red Cross Movement are :<\/h4>\n

Humanity<\/p>\n

Impartiality<\/p>\n

Neutrality<\/p>\n

Independence<\/p>\n

Voluntary service<\/p>\n

Unity<\/p>\n

Universality<\/p>\n

Red Cross society function with the one and only aim of serving people under distress without any consideration of caste, religion, language and nationality.<\/p>\n

Youth Red Cross has the following three principles:<\/h4>\n

Protection of health and life<\/p>\n

Service to the sick and suffering<\/p>\n

Promotion of national and international friendship to develop the mental and moral capacities of the youth.<\/p>\n

To foster better friendly relationship with all without any discrimination.<\/p>\n

To bring the deliberation on their own health conscious.<\/p>\n
